Wow, how exciting! Four pages of my food photography featured in this month’s Cheshire Life magazine (October 2019). To say I’m thrilled to bits is an understatement! I thought you might like to see behind the scenes of this shoot back at the beginning of September.
It was actually my birthday on the day of the shoot, which I actually didn’t mind as I got to eat lots of cake and spend the day doing one of my favourite things. The shoot took place at the home of a very good friend of mine, Nikki, who had kindly offered to host it there and help with styling. Just in case that wasn’t going to be mad enough there was also another shoot for Cheshire Life taking place at the same time with Hanna Sillitoe from My Goodness Recipes.
The baked goods were provided by award-winning baker, Jen Perry of Room Forty (recipes and more information about Jen can be found in Cheshire Life magazine October 2019). Soon Nikki’s kitchen was filled with the delicious smells of freshly baked scones, bread and cream cakes. Oh, and rather a lot of props! Scroll down to see the final images and also some behind the scenes shots of both shoots.
